As UK Radon Awareness Week 2015 draws to a close, we would like to leave you with a final message.
Raising awareness is only the first step in reducing the number of people being affected by radon-induced lung cancer; more buildings must be tested and those found to contain elevated concentrations must be fixed. Effective radon protection must also be incorporated in new buildings.
To find out more about how to test your building or who to contact to reduce high levels, please visit the UK Radon Association website.
